Thank you to everyone who helped out with the gardening on Sunday 5th November.  We pruned the fruit bushes and raspberry canes.  Also, unfortunately, we had to cut down a plum tree which was dying from silver leaf - it could have spread to other trees if it had been left.  This tree had been badly vandalised, which is how the disease entered it.

We burnt the tree trunk and branches, and will ask Hackney to dig up and burn the roots.  And keep asking!

The next gardening session will be in February, details in the new year.
Thank you for help you gave this year, or just for walking through the park to keep it well-used
